Mortlach Rare Old Single Malt Scotch

Clear, bright amber tone. Fruity start on the nose with red plums, peaches and blackberries. Then it gets drier, with nutty undertones and buttery pies. Medium weight, with a soft texture. Amazingly sweet, covering the tongue and fiery, then tight in the middle of the palate; also tart and gingery; Exuberant notes of garden fruits are accompanied by delicate wild aromas. The finish is soft, smooth and surprisingly sweet, with notes of black currants and dry, yet silky tannins. Later dark chili chocolate.
